Biography
Chelva E. Jalloh grew up in Montgomery County, Maryland and she completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Mass Communication from Towson University in Towson, Maryland. She has received two Master’s Degrees in the fields of Education and Human Development from The George Washington University in Alexandria, Virginia and Educational Administration from Trinity Washington University in Washington, D.C. She has served in the following capacities: Director of Before and After School Enrichment Programs, and she has worked in private and public school systems as a Teacher and School Counselor. She has also studied Religious Education and Creative and Expressive Arts. Additionally, she is the Founder and Executive Director of a Creative Arts Practice and a published Author.
She brings her extensive educational and occupational background to the Onyx Therapy Group by serving as a School-Based Counselor. In her spare time, Chelva enjoys taking nature walks, writing poetry and publishing books with her family, and she has enjoyed traveling overseas to a variety of countries with them for numerous years.
