Biography

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the District of Columbia, New Jersey, and Delaware and a Board-Certified Telemental Health provider. I have
been providing therapy since 2016 in Washington, DC. In this time I have gained more knowledge, commitment to leadership, and adaptability to best support clients. I have worked with youth, adolescents, and young adults in the urban community. During this time I have worked in the community in crisis management, supporting mental health initiatives, while fostering therapeutic relationships with clients and their families.

I have been able to utilize multiple therapeutic modalities in my practices consisting of cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, person-centered, and child-centered play therapy to assist clients to achieve their goals, and my commitment to supporting clients in their goals by focusing on individual strengths.

As a counselor, I believe that everyone has a voice and is entitled to have that voice heard free from judgment or shame. I feel privileged to be a part of a client's journey.
