I don’t mind where you go
When your mind goes quiet
When you want to scream
and cry
and yell.
I don’t mind where you go
When you feel like you’re better off alone
When you feel like home isn’t a home
For I know that the walls you’ve made, protect the fire from getting in
Because burned, you have been.
You can’t be blamed for self protection.
Instead
I will sit with you in your fear.
I will sit with you in your discomfort.
I will sit with you in your anger.
I will sit with you in your sadness.
I will meet you where you are.
I will befriend your shadow.
We will sit and converse.
For, there is light in the darkness
In Heaven and Earth.
