Biography

Sammia Jones is a licensed master's level social worker in Maryland. Following receiving her bachelor of social work at Virginia Union University and registering with the border social work as a qualified mental health professional, she began her career as an intensive in-home counselor in Richmond, Virginia. There revealed her passion for assisting at-risk youth was uncovered.

Sammia continued her education, pursuing her master's of social work at Fordham University, graduating in 2021. During that time, Sammia had transcended various positions within the social work field, including mental health, skill, building adult protective services, and psychotherapy intern.

Towards the end of 2021, Sammia relocated back to her home in Maryland. There she pursued licensure and social work, which she obtained in July 2022. Sammia continues to work with at-risk youth, and is currently in a school therapist position
