Biography
Tamika Archer, LPC-R, has an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with training in Humanistic Sandtray levels I and II. She is pursuing a Doctorate in Urban Leadership & Entrepreneurship and certified in Women’s Entrepreneurship through Cornell University in 2021. Tamika has over two decades of working with women and children. Her passion is identity development and women’s emotional healing. She combines her clinical counseling expertise and community development work with her business knowledge to offer clients a unique behavioral perspective. Her clinical focus is on identity development and relationship building. Other areas of passion include: leadership training, program creation, and life transitions.
As a therapist, facilitator, speaker, and teacher, Tamika prompts individuals to dig deeper and emerge as their desired selves. She is an international speaker and facilitator. Tamika is highly interested in breaking barriers that prevent individuals of marginalized and minority cultures from obtaining sound mental health support and bridging gaps where access is limited to mental health care and wellness resources. As President and Founder of Halo Academy, Inc., a 501(c)3 organization, her mission is to assist families with education, agronomy, and wellness amenities that can help foster a creative mind and well soul. Tamika can be found hiking, exercising with her friends, serving the community, and laughing with her soul.
